Acceptable: Red top

Submission Container/Tube: Plastic vial

Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge and aliquot serum into a plastic vial

Additional Information: Tryptase degenerates very quickly when left in the presence of red blood cells.
